I learnt by one of the post that u guys dnt hav dynamic drilldown but itz really very urgent for me to get that done...please help me

Hi there,

There's no drill down in RGraph. You could make one by using the .onclick event or chart.events.click property so that a new chart is shown when a bar is clicked. If you wish I could make you a demo as a "license holder customisation".

Hi there,

You can change the font and size with these options:

chart.labels.ingraph.font
chart.labels.ingraph.size

But not the color.

Hi there,

It depends on the browser that you're using. IE7/IE8 probably won't support it - but Chrome, Firefox and IE10 do so you may need to upgrade. Check the print preview option.

Hi there,

It sounds like you might be using the wrong canvas ID.

Thnx..

i want to show a small div onclick of the piechart which will show all the details about that particular sector.
bt m nt able to do dat,though i hv calculated the % of the pie sectors,but want to show all the details in that particular div and not in tooltip.

Plz help me to do dis.

Hi there,

You can use the onclick event to either create the DIV or move and show a hidden DIV - and then set the innerHTML of that DIV to whatever it is that you want to show. You can add the .onclick event after you call the .Draw() function.

pie.onclick = function (e, obj)
{
     // Create/show the DIV here
}

If you need help creating the DIV - take a look at the RGraph.Tooltip() function - that creates a DIV and sets many of the CSS properties when a tooltip is shown.

I saw a example of scatter chart with tooltip,
but hw will i use for piechart....m nt getting the dataset,index n others.

Hi there,

There's an example of getting the original value from a using the ontooltip event here:

www.rgraph.net/fiddle/view/a-pie-chart-retrieving-the-value-from-a-tooltip

You could also use the chart.events.click property, which is a little different - but not much.

hi..

y am i getting the following error now n den?

TypeError: this.context is null
this.context.translate(0.5,0.5);

Hi there,

It means that you're probably using that wrong ID for the canvas or the canvas tag doesn't exist in the DOM at the point that you're creating the RGraph object.
