Hi, I am trying to vertically plot two pie charts on one canvas. Which property do I set to position the "top" position for each of the charts?

You can either use the gutter properties or the centerx/centery/radius properties. More here:

Can I actually draw two pie charts on one canvas or do I need to create a separate canvas id in my HTML for each pie chart?

Hi,

No you can draw the charts all on one canvas if you wish. If you do then you may find it easier to use:

chart.centerx
chart.centery
chart.radius

To position them exactly.

This HOWTO uses the same method (but just the chart.centerx is needed here) to position three Gauge charts:
