Can the Line chart make trend line / best fit lines?

can rgraph make line charts with best-fit lines?

Yes - the canvas Line and Scatter charts and the SVG Line and Scatter charts can all have trend lines added to them.

By combining the Bar chart with Line chart, the Bar chart can have a trend line too. Here's some links into the documentation:
