SVG does not have the xaxisTickmarksCount property

Howdy, I'm converting canvas to svg and there is no xaxisTickmarksCount.
I use it to denote 15 min intervals in an hour on the x axis, between each vertical line (backgroundGridVlinesCount).
Any chance of migrating xaxisTickmarksCount code into SVG?
