SQLite Edit for PHP makes it easy to create editing interfaces for your SQLite database tables. It's not a tool that you can use to make changes to your database structures - like tables, views, indexes or triggers etc. It is, however, a tool that you can use to create interfaces to the tables that allow you to add, remove or edit the data itself.

You can use it to provide admin interfaces to your admin team or you could even turn the add/edit/delete features off and use it to quickly provide read-only views of the data to your users.

SQLite Edit for PHP was originally called SQLite Editor for PHP but the name shortened after about three months of development.

It's used in the admin interfaces of the RGraph website and speeds up the creation of these interfaces considerably - providing listing, search, paging, addition, editing and deletion capabilities without much work needed to implement them at all.

In total, the software was in beta for three to four months after its initial release in June 2026 and then (when there nothing left to add or change!) the stable version was released in September 2026.

The software is totally free to use - using the same license as SQLite itself - ie it's released to the public domain. This means that you can do as you wish with it without having to adhere to any licensing clauses.
