Data editing functionality

If enabled, SQlite Edit for PHP supports data editing by the user double-clicking on a row (though this can be configured to a single-click for touch devices). This will pop up a dialog that contains a form with all of the data for the row that you've selected. You can then edit the data and click the save button or cancel the edit and nothing is saved to the database.

By default, regular text inputs are shown for each input but the editor can be configured to show a variety of different types including: text, textarea, checkboxes, radio buttons, range inputs (slider bars), date, datetime, week, month, color, email, number, select (dropdown lists)and time.

The select, radio buttons and checkboxes can get their options from a few different sources: a CSV string, an SQL query, an array of the values and a JavaScript function which returns an array. You can set the text that's displayed to be different to the value that's submitted.

Once the edit form is submitted you can use the editable_callback option to stipulate a function that's run to further manipulate the data if you want to do that.

And lastly, you can use the editable_save_url option to set your own URL that's called to save the data instead of the editor doing it. This URL is called when the form is submitted and all of the data is POSTed to it along with a few bits of meta-data.
