Performance problems with semi-transparent colors

Posted by Jorg at 09:55 on Friday 23rd July 2021 [link]
Hello,

I have problems with a line chart with two filled ranges in the background:

In old version (v4.62) the filled ranges are filled in black and i want them in red and 20%opacity

In newer version(v6.00) the filled ranges are filled in correct color (red and 20%opacity) but rendering is very slow - 1000ms versus 80ms (in version v4.62) for the same data

Cant find my faults - an suggestions?

Find greets
Jorg

Little supplement: In version v6.00 I already tested without opacity - no notably difference in performance! Where is the source for performance issues? Or (in other hand) what can I do to set the correct color in version v4.62?

Fine regards
Jorg

Can you post the source code for the chart please?

> no notable difference in performance!

So with solid colors the rendering is satisfactory?

I've made an example here:

And there doesn't seem to be any rendering speed issue.
