New demo of a Gantt chart tracking hours worked

Written by Richard Heyes, RGraph author, on 21st January 2024

[No canvas support]

Here's a new example of a Gantt chart that's configured to be a timesheet-style application. It's configured such that each block represents an hour in the day and if it has been worked then it's filled with a dark-green color. You can see the demo on CodePen by clicking the green button above and get the source-code of the demo from GitHub here (either click the RAW button on the right-hand-side or the "copy to clipboard" button next to it to get the code.

There are two versions of this demo in the download archive - one that isn't dynamic and which just displays the data that you give it and the other is dynamic so you can click one of the squares to either select or deselect it.

The data for the chart is saved to the browsers window.localStorage variable so it will persist across page refreshes.
